🛡️ Limited Warranty

Congratulations on the purchase of your new SleepyEdge mattress! The investment you've made in your health begins tonight, with a comfortable night's sleep on a supportive mattress. All SleepyEdge mattresses are made with the finest quality materials available. Customer satisfaction is our goal, and we backed that statement with our Manufacturer's Limited Warranty.

Any lawsuit or breach of this limited warranty shall be commenced, if at all, within one (1) year of the date that the claim accrues.

Important: Please retain your proof of purchase. Proof of purchase is required to obtain any warranty service and will only be available to the original purchaser. Do not remove the law label at the end of your mattress — it contains the product identification needed to establish your warranty rights.

What Is Covered

SleepyEdge warrants your new mattress against defects in material and workmanship existing at the time of manufacture and appearing within the applicable Limited Warranty period.

Mattress

  • Body impressions greater than 1½" — only if the mattress has been continuously supported by an appropriate frame. The frame should include a rigid center support for queen and king sets. A rigid center support is equal to a support that extends from the frame to the ground.
  • Foam splitting, cracking, or defective material that compromises the structural integrity of the mattress.

Foundation / Base

  • Splitting of the wood frame, or defective, loose, or bent structural components.

🚫 What Is Not Covered

The following conditions are not considered manufacturing defects and are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Damage to the mattress fabric due to soiling, stains, bodily fluids, or burns — this is considered unsanitary and will void your warranty.
  • Body impressions of 1½" or less. This is normal and represents the conforming of the surface to the shape of a sleeper — much like the insoles of a quality pair of shoes.
  • Clearance bedding, "as is" bedding, or floor models.
  • Transportation costs to and from the factory for repair or replacement — this is the responsibility of the consumer.
  • Normal wear and tear to the mattress cover or ticking.
  • Product failure due to causes other than defective workmanship or material.
  • Comfort level or preference of firmness.
  • Overall bed height.
  • Damage to mattress due to incorrect, old, or mismatched foundation.
  • Commercial use, unless the product was specifically designed and built for commercial use.
  • Any queen or king-size mattress used on a frame or bed rails without proper center support with legs that touch the floor.
  • Product damage due to misuse or neglect.
  • Damages resulting from failure to observe the care instructions and Do's & Don'ts listed in this warranty document.

📋 Limited Warranty Schedule

The term of Limited Warranty coverage and any applicable fees depend upon the specific SleepyEdge product. Please refer to the non-removable tag located at the head of your mattress ("Law Label") for your warranty code. The Law Label is your product identification record and should not be discarded.

Warranty Code Total Limited Warranty Period No-Charge Repair / Replacement Period Repair or Replacement Charge After No-Charge Period
A 12 Years 1 Year 1/12 of dealer's regular retail price at time of claim × number of years used
B 15 Years 3 Years Complete first 3 years; after that, 1/15 less per year
C 10 Years 10 Years N/A — fully covered for entire warranty period
* Exclusive of transportation cost. Transportation to and from the factory is the responsibility of the consumer.

Note: Proof of purchase is required for all warranty service. Coverage is measured from the original date of purchase and is available to the original purchaser only. Coverage does not renew or extend if the product is repaired or replaced during the warranty period.

📌 Do's & Don'ts for Your SleepyEdge Mattress

Following these simple guidelines will help protect your mattress and maintain your warranty coverage.

Do's

  • Rotate your mattress as needed to equalize body impressions.
  • Use an appropriate frame and center support on queen and king-size sets.
  • Let your new mattress "air out" upon removal from its packaging and dispose of all plastic. A child or pet can become entangled and suffocate.
  • Keep your bedding clean and use a mattress pad. Stains of any kind will void your warranty.
  • Replace your foundation when purchasing a new mattress to provide proper support.
  • Carry your mattress upright on its side when moving. If storing for an extended period, store it flat.
  • Promptly dispose of old mattresses to avoid a fire hazard.

Don'ts

  • Do not remove the law tag at the end of your mattress — it is the identification record needed to establish your warranty rights.
  • Do not bend or jump on your SleepyEdge mattress under any circumstances. Such treatment may damage the mattress, foundation, or both.

🌙 Mattress Care

To further ensure a long-lasting product, proper care and maintenance of your sleep set should be taken. Follow these simple steps and you will be sleeping comfortably for years to come.

To help equalize body impressions, please rotate your mattress as part of the maintenance of the sleep product. Rotate your mattress every two weeks for the first six months, and then every 2–3 months thereafter.

Safety: To avoid personal injury, do not attempt to rotate your mattress without a partner.

1

Push at the opposite corners A and B while your mattress is lying flat.

2

Push alternately on corners A and B to position the mattress on the foundation.

3

Mattress is now rotated end to end. Repeat every 2–3 months.

🔧 How to Obtain Warranty Service

If a defect appears during the limited warranty period, we will — at our sole discretion — repair or replace the defective product. Charges for service or parts will be calculated as provided in the Limited Warranty Schedule above, provided the product is delivered, at the customer's expense, to the nearest SleepyEdge service location with:

  • Proof of purchase
  • A description of the defect
  • The Law Label intact

If identical materials or an identical mattress is not available, we reserve the right to substitute materials of equal or higher quality as necessary. We reserve the right to refuse warranty service for mattresses found to be in an unsanitary condition.

The products are warranted for the original owner from the date of purchase. Should the products need to be repaired or replaced at some point during the warranty coverage, the expiration date for coverage is measured from the original date of purchase — coverage does not renew or extend.
